Phish Reporter Release Notes – Phriendly Phishing

This article will provide release notes for each version of the Phish Reporter. It will include all the relevant information and changes that are made from 9 February 2023 onward.

Scheduled updates will be marked so you can stay up to date with with future changes. The most recent will be displayed at the top of the table.

Important Note: Updates are pushed automatically, and version number doesn't change. What changes is the manifest version number. Manifest Version does not change with every release as it’s not directly tied to the add-in’s logic. It is recommended to be always on the latest manifest version to ensure availability of latest features.

28/08/2024	Manifest Version: 1.0.0.5 Resolved: The checkbox to 'not show confirmation message' was not being applied correctly. This setting will now apply after user checks this option. Resolved: Users were receiving an error when reporting emails with IPV6 addresses. These emails will now be reported without errors. Update: You can now add images into the message prompt users receive after reporting an email. Update: We have enhanced our error logs to assist further in investigating issues. 1/07/2024	Manifest Version: 1.0.0.5 Resolved: iOS mobile users were reporting an error when reporting an email via Phish Reporter. Users can now report emails successfully using an iOS mobile device.	Admin: No action is required. Learner: No action is required.
18/05/2023	Resolved: Emails were not being deleted from shared mailboxes when learners required permissions. The Phish Reporter add-in will now move reported emails to the delete folder if the learner reporting the email has the required permissions to do so manually. Resolved: Intermittent issues where training reminder emails were incorrectly identified. The Phish Reporter add-in will now identify Phriendly Phishing training emails correctly. Resolved: Reporting multiple emails in a row on the outlook web client. The Phish Reporter add-in will now be able to report multiple emails in a row without needing to refresh the webpage	Admin: No action is required. Learner: No action is required.
20/04/2023	Update: Security enhancements.	Admin: No action is required. Learner: Learners will be asked to log in again into their O365 Account.
15/02/2023	Resolved: Users that were unable to report on Outlook desktop client pre-version 1910. Add-in will no longer load indefinitely when reporting emails on these versions.	Admin: No action is required. learner: No action is required.
23/11/2022	Update: Added functionality to use the O365 add-in with shared/delegate inboxes.	Admin: (Optional) Admins will need to update their manifest file to version 1.0.0.5 to use this functionality. learner: No action is required.
