Ingest Phish Reporter Emails into Microsoft 365

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to ingest genuine user-reported emails into Microsoft when utilising the Phish Reporter button. This way you can utilise all the features of the Phish Reporter while also taking advantage of Microsoft's machine-learning capability for phishing emails. 

Note: following these steps will automatically remove the Microsoft Report Button in Outlook 

To Begin:

1. Setup a Shared mailbox for all emails to be sent to Shared mailboxes - Microsoft 365 admin center

2. Login to the Phriendly Phishing platform, Navigate to the Phish Reporter tab and enter the email address of the shared mailbox you just created:

3. Navigate to: https://security.microsoft.com/securitysettings/userSubmission

Configure settings as per the below screenshot using the shared mailbox you just created as the email address: (ensure to hit save at the bottom of the screen once complete)

4. Any genuine user-reported messages will now appear here, this will exclude any Phriendly Phishing emails: https://security.microsoft.com/reportsubmission?viewid=user
