Whitelisting : O365 Advanced Delivery Configuration

Microsoft has updated its policies for handling the delivery of third-party emails. This change impacts all emails sent from our Phriendly Phishing platform specifically our Phishing Simulation Emails.

To ensure our Phriendly Phishing simulation phishing emails are received by your staff, you will need to configure the Advanced Delivery Phishing policy in the Microsoft Defender portal. If you do not configure this policy then the mails sent may get caught in junk or quarantined. 

This article will show you how to configure the Advanced Delivery to ensure the emails are delivered to your users. 

  Requirement 
Microsoft Office Administrator level access is required.

Configure Advanced Delivery Phishing Policy in Microsoft Admin Centre

  1. Navigate to your Microsoft Defender portal
    https://security.microsoft.com/
    OR
    Direct Link (skip to step 5)
    https://security.microsoft.com/advanceddelivery?viewid=PhishingSimulation

     

  2. Select Policies and Rules > Threat Policies

  3. Under Rules, select Advanced Delivery. advanceddel2.png

     

  4. Select Phishing Simulation then edit to make changes to the policy. Below is the end result post adding all Domains and IPs. advanceddel3.png

     

  5. Input the following Domains and IP's.

    Domains and IPs Details
    Current Sending Domains
    • phriendlyphishing.com
    • training.phriendlyphishing.com
    • launch.phriendlyphishing.com
    • mail.phishingacademy.com (Google customers)

       

    New Domains (Effective early 2026)
    • Phishing simulations (base domain) : phriendlyphishes.com
    • Training emails : phriendlyphishingtraining.com
    • Support emails : phriendlyphishingsupport.com

       

    IPs and Other Senders
    For Learner Hub
    • AU : learnerhub.phriendlyphishing.com
    • UK : learnerhub.uk.phriendlyphishing.com

       

     

  6. Then select Save to keep the changes you've made.

  7. Below will show the changes made. Select Close

 Congratulations! You have successfully whitelisted Phriendly Phishing IPs and Domains in your environment. To test your configuration, Generate a whitelist.
