Training Link Expiry Questions
Q: Does the training link expire?
It expires after 48 weeks per training course.
Q: Does the Training Link extension notify the team member once set?
No, it will not notify the learner of their extension period. It will only allow them to complete the training after the expiry date.
Q: Can an extension be applied retroactively?
The extension will apply to active and future training blocks. You can always reschedule the training for any learners that did not complete it during their initial allotted time.
Smart Group Questions
Q: Which teams do you recommend targeting first?
A: We recommend targeting high-risk teams like finance, HR or people team, and leadership or executives.
Q: Can you manually add users to the smart group individually?
A: No, smart groups is based on attributes so they'll need this information in order to schedule.
Q: How does Auto-Enroll and smart groups differ? And which one should be used to enrol new users into the exisiting or already completed training?
You can use both features together. Auto-enrolment is for new staff and you can create a smart group with a custom auto enrolment pathway. Today we showed how you would create the Smart Group and how to set this up for existing learners.
Q: For the "reschedule" example, can you see who is assigned before the block starts?
Yes, you can use the fourth option to include or exclude learnes if they are scheduled into a future block. The Smart group will schedule before the block begins for all learners that meet the criteria at that point in time.
Q: How do you see learners in the smart groups created using dynamic rules like Department or Student Sophistication?
If you select the smart group when scheduling, on the summary page it will show you all users that meet that criteria at that point in time.
Q: Can you manually add users to the smart group individually? - Isn't this already possible for Smart Groups created using Email Address?
No, smart groups are dynamic groups that are based on selected criteria. Only users that meet the criteria will be included in the group.
Q: Can you see the final list of users in the smart group after applying the logic filters?
Yes, when scheduling a learning path on the timeline, you will be able to preview the learners that are currently in the smart group on the Summary page.
Q: Can a smart group exclude another smart group?
Yes.
Q: Can we use Smart Group for grouping staff in different regions like in Europe and the Americas rather than departments? And will foreign language be supported to make the emails look more localised?
Yes, as long as an attribute for location has been synchronised to the platform. Yes, you can upload a custom template with any languages you'd like to share. We are looking to build out our email template library with different languages, but we do not have examples by default.
Custom Email templates Questions
Q: When you customise your Training template, do we just disable the default and enable the new modified version? Or do we need to adjust campaigns to use the new template?
The default template will automatically be disabled when the new template has been shared and published. You can confirm this by navigating back to the email templates tab > applying training filters and looking in the top right corner of the template.
Q: What's the mechanism for spoofing our domain - DKIM or SPF?
We support both DKIM and SPF.
If you enforce SPF then you will need to add our sending address to your SPF records to allow us to send on behalf of the organisation. Please contact our support@phriendlyphishing.com to get this setup.
Other Questions
Q: Can I bulk update the segment on my existing learners? How do I remove a segment from a learner?
Segments cannot be updated by a company administrator after the initial upload through the manual method. However, our support team is able to do this for you. Please contact support@phriendlyphishing.com or use AD synchronisation to update attributes in real-time.
Q: What is the preferred way to raise a support issue / suggest a request?
