This article takes you through the steps to update the Phish Reporter Outlook add-in in O365.
Things to Note
- Post updating your Manifest File, per Microsoft guideline it usually takes at least 72 hours to sync and update. It is recommended to log out and log back in to Outlook.
- Refer to Release Notes: Phish Reporter for updates and releases.
- Difference between the 2 Manifest Files :
- Manifest File : Non Ribbon version. The Phish Reporter icon appears at the right side of Outlook.
- Ribbon Manifest File : This icon replaces the default Microsoft Spam Reporter. You will see 2 Phish Reporter buttons (left and right side), and using either buttons to report an email should work.
- Log in to your Phriendly Phishing account, navigate to Phish Reporter and download the Manifest file (Ribbon or Non Ribbon version).
- Log in to Microsoft Admin Centre or navigate directly to IntegratedApps link.
- Proceed per below screenshot.
- Upload the manifest file downloaded from Step 1.
- Click Accept and Update.
Congratulations : You have successfully updated the O365 Phish Reporter to the newer version.
