From 1 July 2021, the global exclusion feature ensures public IP addresses have been removed from future reporting data captured.
The global exclusion feature applies a list of public IP addresses that are typically used for mail filtering services, to be removed from Phriendly Phishing account reporting results. Most commonly, the IP addresses can be counted as a click in the click-through report (CTR). But when we analyse the results in more detail, we can conclude that the click wasn't a legitimate click, also known as, a false positive.
When false positives are captured in your reporting data, it can impact your click results by increasing the CTR% with clicks that might not be legitimate. The global exclusion feature will greatly improve the accuracy of results that are included in your account's click-through rate.
*Note: Not all Phriendly Phishing zone's reporting data is impacted by false positives.*
