Smart Groups are dynamic groups of users based on attributes pulled from your AD/AzureAD/Okta integrations that automatically update with your active directory.
Once you have set up Smart Groups, there are three areas of the platform where Smart Groups can be utilised.
1. Auto Enrolment
By utilising Smart Groups in our auto-enrolment feature, you can categorise your automatic learning paths by the different Smart Groups created.
For instructions on creating auto enrolment rules based on Smart Groups please visit the Enable Auto Enrolment page.
2. Schedule Learning Path
You can schedule learning paths for specific Smart Groups. When creating a new learning path, there will be an option to create a New Smart Group or Select a Saved Smart Group.
The day before the training block is scheduled, the Phriendly Phishing system will run a synchronisation to ensure all individuals at that time meet the smart group criteria identified.
Visit the Overview of Learning Paths page to learn more about how set this up in your account.
3. Target Phishing Templates - Baseline/Campaign
You can target any email template in our Phriendly Phishing library to a Smart Group. This will ensure that only the individuals in the Smart Group receive this email template.
A great use case for this would be to target specific email templates to Smart Groups based on location (for templates that use local language references) or targeting certain departments (for templates that are only applicable to a specific department).
Targeting can be found at the bottom right corner of the email template editor
Visit the Email Templates guide to learn more about how to set this up in your account.
