Q: How much does Phish Focus cost?
A: Cost for Phish Focus is based on the number of learners you have in the Phriendly Phishing platform. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager in order to get the exact pricing for your company.
Q: How do I access Phish Focus?
A: You can access Phish Focus from the Phriendly Phishing platform using the menu on the left. You will first need to reach out to your Customer Success Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about adding Phish Focus to your subscription.
Q: Do we need to use Phriendly Phishing Phish Reporter to forward emails to the Phish Focus inbox?
A: Yes, your staff must report emails using our Phish Reporter in order to utilise Phish Focus. Configuring Phish Reporter Settings to start using the Phish Reporter.
Q: Which email platforms is this compatible with?
A: AD, Azure and Google Workplace - any version of our Phriendly Phishing Phish Reporter.
Q: What permissions and administrator rights do I need to connect my Microsoft 365 instance to Phish Focus?
A: Global Administrator or Exchange Administrator. You will also need to have access to the Microsoft 365 admin centre and the Exchange admin centre, as well as the appropriate permissions to create and manage add-ins in those centres.
Q: What permissions and account rights do I need to connect my Google Workspace to Phish Focus?
A: Super Admin or an administrator with the necessary permissions to deploy add-ons.
Q: Is this easy to administer or does it need IT/technical knowledge?
Yes, if you have already configured the Phish Reporter. If you haven't configured the Phish Reporter, then this may require your IT team to set up.

Q: How do I delete a message from my Phish Focus inbox?
A: You can delete messages by navigating to the desired email > select the overflow menu under Actions > Delete. Phish Focus Inbox: Action messages
Q: Can I change the priority status of a message?
A: Yes, simply click on the priority tag and select a new priority. Phish Focus Inbox: Message's status
Q: What tool do you use to scan emails?
A: We utilise the ClamAV scanning engine.
Q: How long does it take to scan an email?
A: Almost instantly!
Q: How can I configure an automation rule?
A: Select Automation rules in the menu on the left > Select the rule you would like to configure > Update setting and click Save Changes. Phish Focus Workflows
Q: Can we add custom automated rules?
A: There are default automation rules, but we hope to include this in future developments.
Q: Can I use Phish Focus to block viruses?
A: No, Phish Focus is not a mail filter. Phish Focus is a platform for your organisation to quickly evaluate reported emails by your staff. We suggest using Phish Focus to detect trends for reported emails, to further bolster your security gateways.
Q: Can I safely open up attachments and click on links in emails in Phish Focus while investigating?
A: No, you won’t be able to open attachments or click links through Phish Focus. You can forward any email you would like to inspect further to your quarantine environment for review.
Q: The "purge" functionality, does this give you the ability to select an email in Phish Focus, then perform a scan for this email on your mail platform (O365 or Exchange) and delete all occurrences?
A: Yes, Phish Focus: Phish Clear allows you to select an email and delete from all learners inboxes.
