Having Team Leaders be able to see the training results of their team members is important for driving training completion rates.
This article provides the user experience of all Team Leaders in your Organisation. Team Leaders are the employees in your Organisation who have employees directly reporting to them. This is defined in Phriendly Phishing based on your user sync attributes.
Things to Note:
- Team Leaders permission and access is visible if the Manager Attribute is synced from your Active Directory to Phriendly Phishing platform.
- Team Leaders do not have access to Phriendly Phishing Administration zone (unless they have also been explicitly added to the platform), only Learner Hub.
- Team Leaders will have access to the Training records of employees they are managing (4 levels down).
- Team Leaders will access their own assigned training via the Learner Hub, as they are both a learner and line manager.
- This feature is only accessible if you are syncing learners to the platform (not accessible if you are manually uploading your learner list).

How to sync the Manager Attribute into the Phriendly Phishing platform for Team Leader visibility?
The Manager attribute is synced into your Phriendly Phishing zone, depending on the Learner User Syncronisation method used. Important: It is mandatory to set the Unique Identifier as External ID, SID or User Code instead of Email Address.
Okta: Manager attribute is identified via ManagerID. Please ensure Manager ID box is checked within the Phriendly Phishing platform, Learner User Sync section + User Code
Azure SCIM: Team Leader is identified via Manager attribute. Please ensure External ID and Manager attribute are mapped per below:
- Configure Manager attribute using, "urn:ietf:params:scim:schemas:extension:PH2:2.0:User:manager". For reference, go to section 3. Mapping required attributes and Assigning Provisioning Scope from Azure SCIM User Provisioning.
- Map External ID, per our Azure SCIM Provisioning help article
Azure API: Team Leader is detected from Manager field in your Azure environment.
Note: Manager attribute is not visible on the attribute list in the Phriendly Phishing platform by default, please contact support@phriendlyphishing.com.
AD: Please select SID + Manager from your AD to detect Line Manager.
